Overview

Kerala, a state on India's tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It's known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival Cochin
Arrive in Cochin, Meet & Greet by our representative on the airport. Transfer to the Hotel. Enroute visit the Most Famous Athirapally waterfall, Beachs & Some local sightseeing of Cochin. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 - Cochin – Munnar
After Breakfast, Checkout & proceed for the Munnar which is around 150 kms (4hrs). Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1600 Meter above sea level. This hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British government in South India. Sprawling Tea Plantation picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facility makes this a popular town. En-route visit cheeyappara waterfall. Later check-in to the hotel. Rest whole day is free for Leisure. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 3 - Munnar
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation,(closed on Monday), Eravikulam National Park (Closed during breeding season). Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 - Munnar - Thekkady
Morning after breakfast, continue your journey to Thekkady (110 Kim. 03 ½ Hrs)reaching there in few hours, Check into the resort and relax. Later on proceed for a spice plantation tour.  Explore wide variety of spices in Kerala.  You may also shop few varieties.  Travel by boat on the Periyar Lake to spot the elephants and avifauna for which this reserve is well known. Enjoy the Evening with a Boat cruises in Periyar Lake (on extra cost) back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5 - Thekkady – Alleppey
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (180 K.m.). This is a quaint town flanked by the Arabian Sea in the west and has a vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it. Alleppey is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year and is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Check into the houseboat on arrival (check in time 1.00 pm). Enjoy the day with a backwater cruise on the Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay is on the houseboat.
Day 6 - Alleppey- Kovalam (175 kms/4 hrs)
Morning After breakfast check out from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam.  Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, Sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmers and catamaran cruising are some of them. The tropical sun acts so fast that one can see the faint blush of coppery tan on the skin in a matter of minutes. Life on the beach begins late in the day and carries on well into the night. The beach complex includes a string of budget cottages, Ayurvedic health resorts, and convention facilities, shopping zones, swimming pools, Yoga and Ayurvedic massage centres.

Full day free at leisure at beach. Activities like Kayaking, swimming, surfing and skiing. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 7 - Kovalam (Excursion to Kanyakumari)
Morning after breakfasts proceed to Kanyakumari sightseeing.   - The Southern tip of India. The spot is also the confluence of three oceans - the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. But be present in time to witness the ethereally beautiful sunset view. And also visit to Vivekananda memorial rocky temple. If you have a good camera takes your own pictures of the spectacle. Enjoying sightseeing and Over Night Stay at Kovalam.
Day 8 - Kovalam – Trivandrum
Morning after breakfasts drive to Trivendrum. We will do half day city tour including SreeChithira Art Gallery, Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swami Temple, Raja Ravi Verma Museum. Later proceed to Trivendrum Airport/Railway Station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God’s Own Country.
